I am happy to report that I tested the Audio Press bridge system today, and it worked exactly as expected… Flawlessly.

I tried using both a Radial USB to XLR Direct Box, and A Focusrite Sapphire box as the signal source… both of which worked well.  I connected the Base Unit to each of the output boxes we received.  Using standard XLR cables, in both short and long lengths, using the adaptor cables I built, which split one incoming XLR feed to both of the two 3-pin Euroblock connectors.

I tested both feeds from the Base Unit to the two output panels.  Every output worked, and every Mic/Line output worked as expected.

I even plugged in a shorted cable, and an XLR to 3.5MM stereo cable, which is known to hum in a Low-impedance to High-impedance connection… no Hum, no issues.  The direct XLR outputs had no hum, and the “known to hum” cable, did not hum.  It is great to get something that works perfectly out of the box.

I am very happy.
